For over 25 years, Haydn has been involved in both the print & digital realms of design. He started building websites optimized for Netscape Navigator 1.0 & laying pre-press files in Adobe PageMaker & Quark. He was already ready to read blueline proofs & to update his code for the next browser update (yes, that includes Internet Explorer 6).
Today he both teaches design at the Academy of Art University & also runs a design studio out of Marin County, California. Nautilus Designs started in 2003 and has had clients throughout the Pacific rim, from New Zealand and Cook Islands to Seattle, Los Angeles & San Diego. You can learn more about the design firm at nautilusdesigns.com.
Haydn has been involved with University design work outside of his faculty role. He was personally asked by the Chairman of the board to layout the Strategic Plan for the University’s accreditation body, NASAD. Download the PDF of the Strategic Plan.
